Submission to DISR on the national Future Gas Strategy

We welcome the Australian Government’s commitment to long-term policy clarity on the role of gas through the development of the national Future Gas Strategy (the Strategy). The Strategy should maintain Australia’s international cost-competitiveness, support a flexible pathway to least-cost abatement and be consistent with the development of federal and state sectoral decarbonisation plans.
